With a lot of the same features as our popular X-Treme Rubicon 48 Volt electric mountain bicycle, the Rocky Road 48 Volt electric mountain bicycle is different in that it comes standard with a 48 Volt 10 Ah lithium battery but there is an option to upgrade to a 48 Volt 17 Ah lithium battery which offers the benefit of increasing your riding distance by 60-65%. This means you can get up to 115 miles per charge (depending on rider weight, terrain and conditions) while the standard battery allows you to ride up to 70+ miles per charge when using the low setting on the Smart Power Assist System (PSAS). There is also a USB phone charging port on the PSAS.
The 500 Watts from the high torque zero resistance clutch motor powered by the 48 Volt lithium battery makes the Rocky Road no joke wherever you need to go. This bike has been tested and can climb a 5-7% grade continuously for 45 minutes at 18 mph! Add fat tires, a mountain bike seat and true VELO brand hand grips and this e bike is the whole package!

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.
