The Storm Jager's name comes from the German word for hunter. That isn't where the German influence stops however. The Rohloff Speed Hub is a feat of German engineering. This 14-speed hub is an internal gear hub with a huge gear ratio that allows for high speeds and sick climbing ability. Because it's an internal hub, this means the bike doesn't have a traditional cassette and derailleur system.

The internal gear system is inside the frame so there is less maintenance and less problems when out in the backcountry. 

The Jager has the incredible Ultra motor and this combined with a full suspension frame and the new Rohloff internal hub makes the ebike one of the best in its class.

The Bafangs ULTRA mid-drive motor has been called the "diesel engine of mid-drive motors. It's unparalleled power and performance is combined with the an integrated torque sensor which makes it one of the most capable, durable, and efficient motor out there. 

The torque sensors provide continuous feedback from the rider to the motor. This is what makes the ULTRA motor known as a "smart motor". With this feedback, the motor can deliver exactly what is being asked of it. This results in a very natural feeling ride. 

With such a powerful motor, this ebike needed a suspension that was heavy duty enough to handle all of this torque and power without causing the frame to flex under intense loads. The rear suspension on the Storm Jager handles all of this power whether you are climbing up steep rocky hills or doing steep descents or pulling a trailer out to your tree stand, blind or favorite hunting spot.
